Wood selection is based on project and finish.  Some woods stain better, some paint better, most woods do just fine on there own.  By using different species of wood, you can complete any multi-colored project that shows the true beauty of wood with a simple, clear topcoat finish.

Listed are the basic woods that are normally easy to get and in stock.  Other exotics and rare finds are sometimes available, depending on stock at commercial locations.
